What can i-Learn mean for schools?

The i-Learn project wants to facilitate digital personalised learning in Flemish primary and secondary schools. With MyWay, teachers can offer students personalised learning tracks in which learning activities of multiple different educational tools are combined. This allows students to process the learning material at their own pace. The teacher can adapt existing learning tracks or create new ones. This personalised approach frees up teaching time, which the teacher can then use to further differentiate in the classroom. Pupils will also have access to a free learning zone in which they can explore independently.

How are schools involved? In the different stages of the project teachers, students and school management are involved so i-Learn is created responding to their needs in the best possible way. Participation and co-creation have always been important in our project. We closely monitor the usage of teachers and students. We collect their feedback and try to implement the findings and requests.

Which schools can participate? All primary and secondary schools in Flanders, accredited by the Department of Education and Training, can participate in the i-Learn project. They are informed via information sessions, intake interviews, events, social media, newsletters and the i-Learn website: www.i-Learn.be, only available in Dutch. Via the website they can register to receive the necessary support for the start-up. Participation in the project is free of charge. This includes the use of the MyWay portal with tools and the coaching and training via the Academy or face to face.
